Automotive Content Writer

PakWheels is looking for writers who understand cars beyond spec sheets and marketing claims. We want individuals who can intelligently analyze vehicles, understand Pakistani buyers' concerns, and produce accurate, useful, and trustworthy content.
This role is ideal for someone who closely follows the automotive industry, enjoys breaking down ownership realities, and can write clearly under newsroom pressure without compromising quality.

Responsibilities

• Write automotive news, comparisons, explainers, and feature articles
• Cover automotive developments with speed, accuracy, and context
• Research and verify vehicle specifications, pricing, and market information
• Compare vehicles based on real ownership factors, not just features
• Identify misleading claims, ownership compromises, and practical buyer concerns
• Produce original analysis instead of rewriting manufacturer or competitor content
• Follow editorial guidelines and publishing timelines consistently
• Work closely with editors to improve content quality, structure, and accuracy
• Use AI tools responsibly to improve workflow efficiency without compromising originality or factual accuracy

Requirements

• Strong English writing and analytical skills
• 3+ years of experience in SEO content, journalism, editorial writing, or automotive media
• Strong interest in automobiles and the Pakistani auto industry
• Ability to research and verify information carefully
• Understanding of vehicle comparisons and buyer behavior in Pakistan
• Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment
• Strong attention to detail, factual accuracy, and source verification
• Ability to consistently deliver publication-ready content within deadlines Preferred Qualifications
• Prior automotive writing or journalism experience
• Understanding of local car market trends and ownership realities
• Familiarity with PakWheels audiences, forums, and automotive communities
• Experience using AI tools for research, structuring, or workflow enhancement
