Long-Form Video Editor

PakWheels is looking for a Long-Form Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality automotive content, primarily for YouTube. The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling, pacing, and visual editing skills with a good understanding of audience retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit long-form automotive content including car reviews, comparisons, road trips, documentaries, interviews, podcasts, and events.
• Build strong hooks, storytelling flow, pacing, B-roll, motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, music, and sound effects.
• Edit multi-camera and 4K footage while maintaining professional video and audio quality.
• Perform audio cleanup, sound balancing, color correction, and basic color grading.
• Optimize videos for YouTube watch time, audience retention, and engagement.
• Collaborate with content creators, producers, hosts, writers, designers, and social media teams.
• Manage multiple projects, revisions, deadlines, large media files, and organized project workflows.
• Take ownership of the editing process and contribute creative ideas to improve the final content.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating long-form video editing and storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar professional editing software.
• Good understanding of YouTube and digital content.
• Strong skills in pacing, storytelling, audio, and visual editing.
• Experience with After Effects, Audition, DaVinci Resolve, or Photoshop is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for automotive/digital content.
